Sabbath Day

June 9, 2011

Took August to school today for his last day of pre-school. Tomorrow will be graduation and then off to summer fun and kindergarten. Noelle is making lunch at home, and then we are all set for a much anticipated visit for August with his best bud Christopher. Along the way I have made a pastoral visit, edited the bulletin, and will pick up “animals” for church school Sunday. (Do not look at the work being done on the Sabbath).

Hope for the day: to finish my annual re-reading of Piers Plowman in anticipation of writing a short paper on ‘dung’ in medieval preaching (it’s a metaphor, not a judgement).
